The Company:
Rotalink is a successful medium size manufacturer of miniature motors, transmission and control established in 1987 in Great Britain.
Our modular electromechanical solutions are used in a vast number of industries in many different types of applications by small, medium and large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on a global basis.
Our first global expansion has been completed in Germany and now it's time to build a stronger presence in other parts of Europe. We will need to increase our support structure to meet current and future demands.

The Role:
The sales support engineer will be based at the company headquarters in Crewkerne, Somerset and will report to the head of sales. They will perform multiple tasks in a flexible week, travel throughout the world when necessary (expected 25% of the time) and deliver sales routine process improvements.

Key activities include:
• Project management
• Technical sales
• Preparation for project responses and price negotiations
• Lead generation
• Management and maintenance of the project and client database (CRM)
• Any other ordinary activities from the sales position

Typical time profile - 10-15% on market research; 50-60% with sales routines; 20-25% interfacing customers for sales development

The position is equipped with computers, telephone and all necessary support tools

The Profile:
Language skills:
English spoken and written fluently is mandatory. Any other European language is highly desirable and fluency in German will be advantageous.

Degree in electric/electronic engineering, computer literacy and sound commercial skills.

Professional experience:
Minimum of 1 years of business development
