Linear Motion

There are a number of options:

• For simple linear drives through a lead screw where thrust does not exceed 50N, we offer our 229 gearbox with your lead screw substituted for the output shaft. Lead screw up to 8mm diameters can be accommodated with a pitch to your specification.
• Where a lead screw is driven as an indirect drive, through a coupling, our complete range of dc motors and gearboxes is available.
• Where linear motion is achieved though a belt and pulley system our complete range of belts and pulleys is available.

For all three options we offer feedback through a single or dual channel encoder with the added opportunity of controlling the linear motion with *Red Drive programmable controller. This product enables you to use your system to the full capability of the motor gearbox: multiple speeds, stop / starts and programmes.
